The blog is great! Thanks for letting me know about it.
As an aside, I had dinner with a friend who had breast cancer (had both of her breasts removed last year) and now is experiencing potential new tumors. When she first told me she was scared about the potential new tumors, and had to have a Pet SCAN, I told her I would take the day off and go with her to the hospital with her. She really appreciated that, and I felt better just knowing that I could be there for her. I wish I could do the same for Marilyn. They did discover some potential new tumors on the side of her neck.
Anyway, I forwarded this blog to my friend, Connie, and suggested she read it, because at dinner the other night, she was saying she wasn't hearing much support from her family, and no one seemed to understand what she was going through. Needless to say, I thought your words might give her some insight. So, if nothing else, perhaps, your words may be able to help my friend.
Warm regards,
Evie
